What to Expect
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a very subtle, hands-on modality using light touch to listen to and support the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and release restrictions in the craniosacral system. You’ll lie fully clothed, and I’ll hold space for your body’s innate intelligence to guide the shifts.
What is Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on modality that works with the body’s natural rhythms to support balance and regulation within the nervous system. Using subtle touch, we listen to the body’s intelligence and allow areas of restriction to unwind so the body can self-correct and return toward harmony.
Is this work trauma-informed?
Yes. This work does not analyze or rehash trauma stories. Instead, it creates the conditions for the body to feel safe enough to let go at its own pace. You are always in control, and the session follows your body’s cues.
The Experience
As restrictions unwind, you may feel waves of deep relaxation, slow pulses, shifts in nervous system tone, emotional release, or physical rebalancing. Many report emerging from the session more grounded, softened, and clearer than when they entered.
Who It’s For
CST is for you if you long for deep, gentle, structural reset and nervous system reorganization. It serves those with chronic tension, headaches, trauma symptoms, emotional overwhelm, or those wanting to support deeper physical-emotional integration. Because it works at a subtle level, it’s well suited for those open to non-aggressive, body-first healing.
Why does the session begin with neck, face, and fascia work?
The neck—particularly muscles like the SCM—often holds patterns of vigilance and protection linked to stress or trauma. Gentle fascia release in this area helps signal safety to the nervous system, supports breathing and jaw release, and prepares the body to receive deeper craniosacral work.
How many sessions will I need?
Some clients feel noticeable shifts after one session, while others benefit from a short series to support deeper regulation. We can discuss a rhythm that feels supportive rather than forceful.
