UWILA WELLNESS POSTPARTUM CARE CONTINUUM
You were not meant to recover alone.
In-home, nervous system-informed support during the first six weeks after birth so your body has the conditions it needs to truly heal.
THE TRUTH OF POSTPARTUM
This is one of the most vulnerable transitions of your life.
In the weeks after birth, your body is doing profound, invisible work. Your nervous system is recalibrating. Your identity is rearranging itself. Your relationship with your own body and everyone around you is shifting in ways that are real, even when they're hard to name.
Postpartum is not just physical recovery. It is a full-system transition that asks more of a woman than perhaps any other moment in her life.
And yet most women are expected to move through it alone.
Rest alone is not recovery. What the body needs in this season is support, presence, and the kind of care that meets it exactly where it is.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Postpartum is not meant to be done alone.
Rest alone is not recovery.
The body after birth needs support, not pressure.
Care in the first six weeks shapes long-term health.
You do not have to hold everything.
WHAT THE POSTPARTUM CARE CONTINUUM IS
A six-week in-home support container before and after your baby arrives.
The Postpartum Care Continuum begins before birth and continues through the first six weeks of your postpartum experience. It is not a list of appointments or a package of hours. It is a sustained, relational presence someone who shows up inside your home, week after week, and attends to both the practical and the deeply embodied.
Your care begins with one prenatal preparation session during pregnancy. Together, we lay the groundwork for what's ahead: the five postpartum needs, what to expect in your body and mind, how to plan for nourishment, and how to meet the transition with clarity rather than overwhelm.
After your baby is born, I come to you. In your home. For six weeks.
Each in-home visit is two hours of unhurried, responsive presence. There is no rigid protocol. What matters is what is present that day for you, for baby, for your body. A visit might look like arriving while you nurse, warming food, drawing a bath, or preparing herbs for a steam. Once baby settles, I offer postpartum bodywork, including abdominal massage to support your recovering body.
This is relational care. It is practical, regulating, body-based, and deeply attentive to what your nervous system actually needs in each moment.
WHAT SUPPORT LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE
Care that meets you exactly as you are.
Each in-home visit is shaped by what is needed in the moment. There is no pressure to be ready. No performance required. Just space.
Prenatal Preparation
One session during pregnancy to orient you toward postpartum your needs, your plan, your body's readiness for the transition ahead.
Postpartum Bodywork
Abdominal massage and somatic support once baby is settled meeting your body where it is, not where you think it should be.
Practical Nourishment
Heating food, making tea, drawing a bath. The simplest acts of care that become profound when you have nothing left to give.
Nervous System Regulation
A steady, attuned presence that signals safety to your system reducing the hypervigilance that so many new mothers carry alone.
Herbal & Steam Support
Preparing herbs for a vulva steam. Gentle, ancient care for a body that has done extraordinary work.
Relational Continuity
The same person, each week, who knows your home, your rhythms, and your needs. Consistency is its own form of medicine.
WHO THIS IS FOR
For the woman who already knows she doesn't want to do this alone.
This care is for mothers who understand, on some level, that postpartum asks more of the body than most of us are taught to expect. Who know that being well-supported in the early weeks is not a luxury it is the foundation everything else is built on.
This is for you if:
You want care that goes deeper than a checklist.
You are sensitive, aware, and ready to be genuinely held.
You know that your body is going through something real and you want support that honors that.
You are not looking for a bounce-back plan. You are looking for a soft landing.
You want someone in your home who is calm, skilled, and genuinely present.
SUPPORT TIERS-
Two levels of care.
One container.
Both tiers include the prenatal preparation session and six weeks of in-home support. The difference is in the rhythm of care how often I come to you, and how much continuity your body receives through the week.
